Felt Coffins 
 
 
This is not a website for the recently bereaved. It is intended for those who, like me, are planning well ahead. For those of you who want to live with your coffin - perhaps use it as a sleeping bag for a while - this could be the site for you. Why felt coffins? Felt Coffins are made from undyed, local wools - a completely natural and renewable material. You can select your own wools/shades/sheep breeds/perhaps even your own sheep. A felt coffin is not a quick, cheap option. Local fleeces are scoured and carded individually to provide the necessary materials and the making of a coffin involves many, many days of work. However, for a beautiful, comforting, environmentally sustainable option to take you into the ever after, a felt coffin is hard to beat.
